Right of Withdrawal
No Right of Withdrawal for Trade Fair Tickets
Information on right of withdrawal in accordance with section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB)
Admission tickets purchased via this ticket shop constitute contracts for the provision of services relating to leisure activities, for which the contract specifies a specific date for the provision of the service.
Under section 312g(2), first sentence, point 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for such contracts.
This applies to all tickets available from the ticket shop, regardless of whether one-day tickets or multi-day passes are involved, as each ticket is bound to a specific, pre-determined event date.
Information for Consumers
In accordance with section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB), a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their self-employed professional activity.
Even consumers who purchase tickets for trade fairs via this ticket shop are not entitled to any right of withdrawal, because the statutory exception set forth in section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB) applies.
Information for Businesses
Businesses, as defined in section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB), purchase tickets within the scope of their commercial or self-employed professional activities. There are no consumer protection rights of withdrawal for contracts between businesses.
Cancellation and Rebooking
No contractual or statutory right exists for the return or cancellation of tickets. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected in the event that the organiser cancels or makes significant changes to the event.
